The ancestors of this family, in the surname of Manasyan, have moved from Erzurum (Karin) to the Chardakhlou village of the Gardman district in east Armenia.

According to the data described in the registration department in the year 1831, the sons of Stepan Manasyan from Karin; Gevork, Matevos, Karabet, and Hovhannes with their families were living in Chardakhlou.

I have formed a family tree, where, at present, only the 371 heirs of those four brothers are listed in the surname of Manasyan.
