My Father died when I was a baby. My grandmother would write me letters but then the letters quit coming. Then we had heard Years later she had passed on. My sister Loretta and I knew we had Aunts and Uncles and Cousins but had no information on them.I made phone calls and knocked at doors of people I thought might know something, But nobody knew. Then in 2001 I was going thru some of my Mothers papers we found in a shoe box that we had saved after her passing on, and came across a name that sounded familiar. The nice lady Mrs. Sanders gave us another name to call, And Mr. Ledbetter in turn gave me my Aunts number, And this is how we found our immediate Family. We havent had a family re-union yet But hope to soon. In the past 3 years now I`ve been trying to research my ancestary, And have found alot of really helpful folks over the internet,And some have turned out to be distant relatives. My Family on my Father`s side mostly came from North Carolina and Im very much excited to visit and put FLowers on Grave sites. But I need alot more information yet. Ive been stuck on who my GG Grandfather was,He fathered William Andrew Jackson Young, Thomas Cannon Young, and possible A Finley C. Young.
