A Marshall Genealogy - England - New England - Georgia Updated November 30, 2002
About Our Family Research
A record of a Marshall family arriving in Boston circa 1630, next generation moving to Connecticut for a few generations, and one generation moving through Pennsylvannia, Virginia, South Carolina, and arriving in what is now Columbia County, Georgia in 1770/1771, and successive generations there. Much early information was gained from a manuscript written by the Reverend Edward Chauncy Marshall, an Episcopial Priest in New York City about 1845. He was a collateral descendent of the writers ancestors. Later (Georgia) data was obtained from family and church records. The document when completed will record available information through the death of the writers father in 1997.
