This site is dedicated to my two sons, Reid and Brooks. It is my wish to show them where they truly came from; who they may resemble in some way, shape or form. I want them to understand the importance and strength of a family, and where that family began.
I am blessed with both my parents still living and many grandparents as well. They are the living legacy of my being. They are the the past that predicts my future, and the future of those who come after my children. I am grateful for the opportunity to ask my grandparents about their parents, and who or what their grandparents were like. It is my opinion that to discover and trace your very soul back through time is a gift.
My goal is to discover each side of my family. My mother a Roberts, my father a Simmons. What, and who, made me? Am I the spitting image of my great-grandmother's mother? What traits have I passed to my children from my ancestors, and what will they pass to their children? I welcome the knowledge to tell a truthful and accurate story of my family history.
