Matijasick (h) Ancestry
Updated May 30, 2003
| About Our Family Research |
|
This is an ongoing family tree of the Ancestry of Anthony Matijasick. The name Matijasick has changed its spelling from Matijasich. Not much is known of my father`s parents other than they came from Austria-Hungary in the early 1900`s.
My current research involves tracing my mother`s side back. These families include the Hayes-Coughlan link(Ireland) as well as the Cummiskey-Rudman link(Germany).
I have great-great grandfathers who served in the Civil War.
Wendelin Rudman served with the 73rd PA Infantry. Patrick J Hayes (alias Joseph P Hayes) served with the 19th Illinois Infantry.
Being a Civil War reenactor myself, a lot of my research has been in that area. I am with the 28th PA Infantry from Philadelphia.
Any information that may be helpful is greatly appreciated.
