I am a descendant of the Matyskiela family that came from Jaziewo, Poland and settled in Chicago, IL. I am currently researching all other Matyskiela families (and the various spelling of the name) in the hopes of finding out how we are all related. The Matyskielas in general come from the area near Suchowola, Leszczany, Chmieliki, Jaminy, and several others. I am currently working on trees for Matyskielas in the following states: CT, MI, PA, OH, WV and may start working on MA and NJ. I am also including the name Matyskiel in my research.
