I started a small project - to create a family tree and history for my daughter to enjoy someday. It is not such a small project anymore.
The main surnames I have been researching are Zirtzlaff, Hartmann, Searle, McMaken, Ross, Kraemer, Fehmling, Matthews and Dacquisto. I have much information on some branches and very little on others.
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who may be related or have information on my family.
There will be a family reunion June 21, 2003, from 2-7 pm at Centennial Park in Cedarburg, WI, for all descendants of Johann Zirtzlaff, the first (and only?) Zirtzlaff to come to the US. Please join us for games, food, family and FUN!
There will be a survey sent with the invitation to the reunion. Please fill out as much information as you have and return it to me at the address below even if you can't make it to the reunion. Stories and pictures are very important as they can get lost or forgotten over the years. I want to include as much as I can in a booklet that will be available to all who want a copy.
