I am researching the Blackwoods. My great-grandfather was Robert Blackwood, b. 9/04/1814, d. 12/17/1886 in Ackerman, MS. He was married to Isabella Coleman, b. 11/29/1829 in Alabama and died 8/30/1883. My grandfather was their son Thomas Lee born 3/23/1869 and married Katie Rebecca Crenshaw in Texas. Any information on those surnames is appreciated.
Also, am interested in learning more about Philip Golden of Pennsylvania, married Cynthia Anne Sherman of Indiana and made his way to Texas in time to fight with Sam Houston in the Texas Revolution, having been awarded two land grants for his service. Settled in Austin, Texas. My information stops with Philip and would like to know more about his family.

Have extensive information on Longs, Johnsons, Dunwoodys and others that I would be glad to share.
