My research has been limited a direct line from my Matthews Family of Michigan and Florida year 2009 to the 10th Mathews generation back in time to the 1670's to William Mathews and his wife Jane (Joan/Joann) of New Haven Ct.. But I have still the challenge to find the origin's of William & Jane, although I have received some ideas, have yet to finalize to a conclusion that I find acceptable to my logic and research. I truly believe DNA will be the answer to William's Country & possibly City of Origin.

I have shared my research with many others looking into the Mathews/Matthews Line and feel that my time table of direct lineage is correct and have other connections as well still working.
