I'm very new to geneology so I haven't done very much research. I actually began a "Future Search" rather than a past one. My Grandma Selma Annie Elma Mischke ,Herman Albert Mattfield's wife is approaching her 100th birthday. I want to paint a large family tree for the party, but realized I have many realitives that I have never met and know very little about. Herman and Selma have fourteen children and the family now spans five generations. The children in the fourth and fifth generations are the ones I know very little about. I've started to contact families for information for the tree. When that is done, maybe I'll be able to focus on the history of our family.
