About Our Family Research


My family name has managed to be traced back so far to 1779. All the Matthews from 1779 to 1874 came from the village of Great Cressingham in Norfolk. UK.
My sister Jean and I began to look into the family history after our fathers death in 1993. The Family History Centres of the LDS have been very helpful and offered much advice on how to proceed.
