Delaware Freeman b.Nov.25, 1802 in Georgia. Married Mary E. "Polly" Collier Sept. 16, 1824 She was the daughter of Benjamin Columbus Collier and Margaret Lane of Va. Delaware Freeman died in Early Co. Ga. Aug. 24, 1844.
Jan. 13, 1851 the following children were listed as orphans: James T., Volumna, Thomas F., Eli, and Henry C. James G. Collier was appointed Guardian.
Mary E. Collier Freeman and her family went to Tyler County, Texas after her 2nd husband, William Caswell died. She owned land there in 1856. She is buried near Spurger, Texas.
Delaware Freeman is my gggrandfather through Eli.
I need help with Delaware's parents.
