My father's Grandmother, Elizabeth Shepard of England was the daughter of an English Earl. She ran away with the Irish Coachman named Dominic. They settled in America at Wenham MA. Also, there was a father Mayem Maxwell and three sons in 1632 in Wenham. They then lived in Wells, Maine and thence to Lovell, Maine. My father's father was Eugene Maxwell dob about 1860, who settled in Lynn, MA. His Spouse was Maude who was discretely born in Boston at the House of the Good Shepard, being a daughter of Alfreda Young of Bethel or Lovell, Maine.Frank Taylor of Bethel was thought to be the father. Later Alfreda Young went to Boston and adopted Maude. "Aunt Alfreda" was much loved by my parents as was Frank Taylor and we visited them when I was so young I don't remember.
My father dob 9/18/1898. His spouse was Helena Josephine Maxwell (Eagles) dob about the same as my father's, from Medford MA. Her mother was Josephine Eagles(McInnis),was of Nova Scotia, Canada.Last resided in Lynn,MA Father was Charles Eagles, last employed in Medford MA. There deceased.
My parents raised five children: Jean Maude Maxwell, a Pioneer Jet Engine technician during WWII. Phyllis Josephine Maxwell, Morrill Alvin Maxwell, Hugh David Maxwell and Jeremy Donald Maxwell in that succession. The last two Hugh and Jeremy are still alive, Jeremy living in Rockland, ME, myself in Marblehead MA. Both in good health. Jean M Maxwell was married to Walter Maxwell (no relation) and settled last in Lovell ME. She thence was widowed and remarried to Roger Brown of Lovell, and deceased there. Phyllis J. Maxwell(Sheehan), a talented mother, artist and Illustrator was known in the artist's village of Wickford, RI,where she last lived. Morrill A. Maxwell last lived in Indianapolis, IN, where he was a business man. Deceased in about 1988.
