About Our Family Research
James Mayclim immigrated from Ireland and served in the Civil War. The tree goes as follows: James Mayclim to James Mayclin (at some time the name changed to Mayclin) to William Mayclin to James Verlyn Mayclin to Robert Verlyn Mayclin to me. James Verlyn Mayclin (one of seven children) moved from Sac City, Iowa to Washington State and became a logger. Both my father, brother (Robert Mayclin Jr.) and myself were born there. I now live in California.
