The Case's & Lawhorn's of South Pittsburg, TN

Updated May 23, 2011

About Our Family Research

I have recently decided to do my Family Tree for The Case's and The Lawhorn's, which is my Mother's side of the family. I quickly became aware that it reaches far beyond what I even thought. At this point of my research, The Case side started out in McLemore's Cove, Walker, GA/DeKalb County AL, then on to South Pittsburg,Marion County,TN and branching out from there. My Lawhorn side began in Jackson County, AL, then on to South Pittsburg, Marion County, TN, and branching out from there.

I must note here that the correct spelling of Lawhorn is without the "e" on the end. My Uncle Leslie added the "e" to the end of Lawhorn when he was on the police force in Ohio for reasons that I cannot find out at this time, as he and my aunt are deceased, and no one else in the family knows or remembers why he did this.

I am still searching for all the blanks.

I have visited a few cemeteries to verify names and dates, but still have several to research, and will update as I do this.

I hope you find my "Tree" listed as Deborah Ann Johnson interesting and helpful for your search.
