As of this date June 2003, I have found my ggggrandparents who are buried in Mt Olivet Cemetery of Frederick, Frederick Co., Maryland. Their names are as follows: Justenian Mayberry born @1765 and died Aug 20, 1834 in Frederick Mary Ann Houser/Mayberry, wife of Justenian, marr: 10 Oct 1791 Issue: Rebecca; Israel; Elizabeth; William; Sophia; Albert G; Catherine; Henrietta; Justinian Jr. Justenian Sr. was a veteran of 1812 War Rank as Captain in the Potomac Home Brigade. Before the 1812 war he was in business with his brother Thomas as owner/operator of an "Ordinary" in today's terms it would be a "Soloon/Bar" possibly also "Boarding House". Later he was employed as "Jailor - Turn Key" and appointed as a commissioner settled disputes of intestate wills and Overseer of the Alms House of Frederick, Maryland. His wife Mary Ann Houser relative of Adam Houser and Sibylla (sic). My gggrandparents were Israel and Catherine Hass dau of Peter and Mary Baer Hass of Romney, Hampshire County, Va(WV). Catherine my maternal gggrandmother passed on prior to the 1850 Census of Hampshire County, Va. The children were sent to live with various relatives. Three of Israel and Catherine's children were living with the grandparents Peter and Mary Hass. My ggrandpa Francis age 16 was living in the Susan Taylor residence; Peter J. Mayberry was living with his Aunt Sophia Mayberry Mobley in Hagerstown, Washington Co., Maryland. The three children living with their grandparents Peter and Mary were Mary age 21; Thomas age 19; Sarah age 13. I have found all of the children except Thomas, I am still searching for him.
