The Canter, McFann, Buffington, Munyon family line has found ancestors who arrived in the U.S. in the mid-1600s, largely to Maryland and Virginia. Many of them migrated to Ohio in the early 1800s. My sister, Lois, and I have been researching these family lines for over 10 years. We hope to eventually find the origins of the immigrants in our family -- the country, town, county, parish -- information that we are still missing. I would like to be able to develop our family tree in the near future from these four family lines of our great grandparents, for whom we have the deepest appreciation for their courage, spirit, hard work, family values, and proliferation which has given us many cousins!!
