We are just beginning our research. Ray Shumway, my father, was born in St. Paul Minnesota. His parents were from Kansas -- we think the Kansas City area but are not sure. Once his parents left their home towns, no contact was had with their families. Ray Shumway Sr was married to Edna Gillespie. Edna's family included a pony express rider! We know very littler about Ray Sr.'s Family and would like to connect with anyone who may know about brothers and sisters and why there was an apparent split between Ray Sr. and his family.
