Just starting to research my family tree. I recently received paperwork that a great uncle (on my mother's side) had researched. This paperwork traces the Becker line back to a Johannes Becker who was born in Holland in January 1690 and came to the American colonies in the early 1700's. The paperwork traces only the men - I would love to find more information on the women. I'm going to start with organizing the information I have and then go from there.
I'm also interested in tracing some of my father's side. I went to Ireland last year and had found some information on the Mahan name but not sure where we fit in. Hope to find some more information.
