Abraham Solomons Fryberg was Jewish. He was born in 1829 at Verseby Camochik Poland (near Warsaw). He travelled to London where he married 1856 Gutel (Kitty) who was born in duberen Poland in 1826. She was the daughter of Leon Cinamond. In 1857 there first son Solly (Henri [Solomon Leon]) was born in London. In July 1859 the family left England from Liverpool aboard the ship David G Flemming arriving in Australia in November 1859. The trip must on been very hard for Gutel as she was with child. On the 21st of December 1859 Issac Solomon was born in Evans Lane Lonsdale St Melbourne. Abraham Occupation was listed as a Hawker. At this stage Abraham could not write in English but yiddish. The family moved up to Bendigo where Abraham continued to be a Hawker. On the 8th of September 1862 Nathan was born at Little Bull Street Sandhurst. Where Arbraham was still a Hawker. On the 6th April 1865 poor little Issac Solomon died at Rathdown St Carlton. He was buried at Melbourne Cemetry. He had had Scarlet Fever for 8 days prior. On the 4th of October 1865 Henry was born at Rathdown Terence Carlton. Arbraham's occupation was now a dealer. He could still not write English. In 1869 their last child again another son was born Myer.
At the start of 1876 the family came again to bad news Nathan who was thirteen at the time came down with shortness of breathe. Nine weeks later on the 10th of April 1876 in hospital he died from a Mediastinal Tumor. He was buried at Melbourne Cemetery. At the time of his death Abraham was listed as a Draper and lived in Melbourne.

In 1891 Abraham became a naturalized Australian. He live in McKenzie St Carlton. Abraham could sign his name, but not write too much in English.
In 1897 Gutel died from Asthma. She is buried at Melbourne Cemetery. They still lived in Carlton
In 1899 Abraham left Australia for Jerusalem Israel where he died.
He left his three adult children and their familys behind.
