I Have worked on my tree some 30 years off and on. It may be a bit confusing due to Adoption. My Daughter was Adopted by Brad Tripp. Her Child Carries his Last name Maximus Xaviour Tripp, My grandson. I was Adopted along with my brother Ira Madison McCallister III. By Richard Frank Mays. I was 15 at the time. It was our wish to carry the name Mays, Not McCallister. Becouse Richard only had a daughter in Texas Named Janice Carol Mays, and he had only sisters Marie Mays, Ann Holbrook.So we took on the Mays Name. Our real Father Ira had 3 sons and a girl,Audi James,Joseph Madison,Robert Madison and Lorrie Louise. This Family tree Takes place in Boone County, And Logan County. Both my Real Parents were born in Logan County West Virginia. But met and Married in Detroit Michigan.
