The Mayr's originated in the Bavarian region of Germany. 5 children out of 9 immigrated to the United States in the late 1800's and settled in the Milwaukee, WI area. We have very little information on the ones that stayed in Germany. The 5 that came from Germany, married and had children. With the help of others, our research continues on to find all of the decendents here and in Germany.
