From family papers & stories, passenger lists it is believed John & Margaret Gow & their 9 children came to America from County Antrim, Northern Ireland beginning in 1833-1836. They settled in Newburgh NY, then to Harford PA. Their 9 children's names are:
John, Ellen, William, Margaret, James, Robert, Nancy, Andrew, & Jane. Most are buried in Harford Cemetary, Harford PA. Although I have over 2800 names in my records, finding out where the children were born is almost impossible. It is believed John & Margaret were born in Scotland. Maiden name possibly Miller or Millar. After 7 years of searching I have hit a brick wall, & just about givin up, if there is any information on any of these names I am dearly in need of help.
