the only info I have is that Herbert May married Sarah Anne Cobett who's father was Arthur Cobbett & Mother Betsy nee Holt. Herbert had a son Norman who came to N.Z. via Australia. grew grapes and made wine in the Bay of Islands until the late 1950s he married Annie Tabuteau. Had a brother Neville (married Violet ? had a child called Pamela)killed in the first world war & another Basil May who married Mary Kendrew. His sisters were Winifred (married a Mathews ?) Daphne (married a Kendrew sister to Mary ? their children were Molly, Norman, & Joan)and Olive (married a Salmon)Some of these people kept in contact with their cousin/neice called Marjorie Low nee May from Kerikeri New Zealand.She had a brother Norman Arthur who is my fatherinlaw. any one out there able to help here it would be appreciated.
