About Our Family Research


The McBride Family arrived from Ireland around 1830 to 1834.

James McBride and Lydia Curran arrived in New Brunswick along with one son, named John who it is thought was born in the USA.They had a family of about 12 children who lived in Queens County, New Brunswick.

One of the boys Richard McBride married Agnes Griffin and lived in a farm on the Ashburn Lake Road. They raised three boys.
