The Asa Arnolds of Georgia and Texas

Updated January 25, 2002

About Our Family Research

For years our family has lived with knowledge that one
our forefathers was Benedict Arnold. That's OK with me.
I am more interested in the other Arnolds that supposedly
helped write the laws in the Methodist Church. A George
Arnold then came to Atlanta, Georgia to evangelize the
same church. After the War Between tne States, Great-
grandfather,George Arnold moved with his family to
Hillsboro,Texas and migrated to Sulpher Springs,Texas.
Grandfather,Asa Arnold, died in 1958 and was buried in
Sulpher Springs. I was very fond of my grandfather.
He was a wonderful person. Thank you for any information
any of you might have about him.
