A McDonald Family Reunion is planned for Winchester, Va. in summer 2005.
I am looking for the line of William Naylor McDonald (1834-98). He married Katharine Simms Gray 1867, she died 1920. They had 10 children, seven whom survived infancy (2 son, 5 daughters).
My search has accounted for all of those siblings except that of their second child and oldest daughter, Ellen Douglas McDonald (1869-1946). She married John Macky Baldwin Neill Dec. 1895. They had 3 sons: Lewis (b. 1908, never married), John Baldwin Neill Jr. (1896-1941), William McDonald Neill(b. 1901)
Latter 2 married and had children:
John B. Neill Jr. married Jean Harris July 1924...2 children: John Baldwin Neill III born 8/9/23 and Jean Elizabeth Neill born 10/15/24.
William McDonald Neill married Hildegarde Klamroth March 1929...2 children: Donna Linda Neill born 6/23/30, William McDonald Neill born 7/33.
