Just getting on here to check in and say that I'm still here. I've taken a break for awhile from my research and I'm finally back. Everything is the same as before. My contact information is still the same. The research of my family tree has been interesting, to say the least. It's all been a learning process...a very eye-opening learning experience. Anyway, I'm researching my Great-Grandfather John McDonald who was born around 1884 in Pennsylvania. The birth place is Pennsylvania and I do know that he and his wife Elizabeth (nee Cleaver) were living in Philadelphia, PA in both 1920 and 1930, based on those censuses. The tricky part for me at this time is to find John's place and date of death. Since my research is being done from the comfort of my home in Texas, I have been using the local Family History Center and any online resources I can find. I hope to one day trace my lineage back to Ireland where John's father (my Great-Great Grandfather) was born. At least that's what both of those censuses say. When I find out more, I will organize my home page better and include any results I come up with including John McDonald's family tree.
