Arthur F. Bruckler is my father. He was born in Detroit,Mi on July 2, 1918. He was the youngest of four children. He had a 1/2 brother Joseph Clark; his mothers son, sisters Dorothy and Marjorie. There may have been another sister named Mary Jane but I don't remember anyone speaking of her.
I have been looking for information on my fathers family for a number of years but since they weren't a close family it is very hard to know where to look. His father Frank Arthur,dob 1885 in Elmyra, NY died in 1936 in Detroit,MI. His mother Nancy Pearl Coons dob Feb.1887 in Sulphur KY died in 1957in California. His sister Dorothy (Conklin) Brizzolara lived in California, sister Marjorie McCormick aka Val lived in Utah.
His brother Joe was married to Helen they had 3 sons and they lived in Chicago until he died and then I believe they moved to California where Helen died.
I do believe that maybe Mary Jane may have lived in Canada somewhere. She would have been a year younger DOB 1919.
Arthur aka Frank aka Art was married twice. First to Evelyn C. Freeley and they had a daughter Carol Evelyn. He married my mother Kathleen Cecelia Bender in 1941. They had 4 childen Darryl,Diane, Philip,Kathleen. My mother also had a son Rockie.
We were all born in Saginaw,Mi and grew up in Flint,Mi. Sorry I forgot the Philip was born in Marion, OH. We were on our way to Florida to live but never got there.
This is my first attempt at a home page and really don't know what to say. I hope that I will be able to put my ancestors in my home page soon.
