I am James McDermott eldest of three sons other two being George and John of John McDermott who was Born in Stromness St Glasgow Scotland in june 1906 our mothers name Georgina shields Carmichael McDermott.still living 2002 We now live john my brother in East Kilbride Scotland and George lives with our mother in Ardrossan Ayrshire Scotland

John McDermott was one of a large family brought up in Stromness st Glasgow in early 1900s there were boys and girls in family including one set of twins one daughter still alive mary in her 7os.John McDermott Died in East Kilbride in 1966

It is thought my grandfather James Mc Dermott came from Ireland late 1800s he died early 1940s or ;late 193030s only information I have is he hunted rabbits to feed his large family
