The Teagues/Smyth Connection documented from old Ninety-Sixth in Abbeyville SC through Benton [Calhoun] Co AL to Anderson Co. TX where Sarah Margaret Smyth married William Reader. He died in Anderson Co,intestate, and Deeds and Abstracts reconstruct family holdings but cannot find his burial place. Sallie Reader is buried in the Old Masonic Section of cemetery in Big Springs,TX in 1908. Looking for connections for the Readers.
Find him in 1849-1878 on tax records in Anderson Co and 1880 Census Records but need family background and cemetery location.
Francis Marion Pound was from MI and is buried in Bethel Cemetery in Anderson Co,TX [see stone in Virtual Cemetery]. Was son of George Hardy Gordon Pound of Pontotoc MS. Need more information re: this family.

Enlisted Co.D24 MS Vols on 2/10/1863. Wounded in battle of Chickamauga, Dardens Light Artillary 9/19/1884. Hospitalized.
Was a P.O.W. and parolled from Post of Colombus MS on May 23,1865. Cannot find more info re:this or Citizenship. Did they not have to officialy swear allegiance on release?
Need death and place times and dates of he and Lucretia Emaline Pitts b. AL. m Noxubee MS. 1860 census roll 589 p 40 , 1880 census Calhoun Co MS. so death would be after 1880.
Maternal g-father William Eaton,[aka Jim Bennett] died Essex, Stoddard Co. MO.
