| About Our Family Research |
|
I have been tracing our ancestry for approximately 2 years and find that it is a never ending quest. I was sprouted in Philadelphia,Pa and grew up in Eddington, just outside of Philly in Bucks County. My grandmother, Inez Benton, was born and raised in Burnet,Texas. She came to Philly with her 2 daughters on a train around 1936-37.Her husband,William Palmer, has always been a Mystery to us all! Our only certain fact of him is that he died September 10,1957 in a Veterans hospital in Philadelphia. He is buried in Beverly National cemetery in New Jersey, along with a few other family members.William may not even be his real name!My Father was William Frederick McDonald, a wonderful and talented artist who painted and exibited in Bucks County. His family has southern roots in Charlston,South Carolina and is of Scottish heritage. As this is continious, all and any additional information or corrections will be gladly accepted
