My father, Richard Lawrence Zwick, is the son of Lorenz Heinrich Wilhelm Zwick and Amelia B. Trier. This side of our family is German and so far we have traced them back to Westphalia, Prussia.
My mother, Doris Jean Killian, is the daughter of Edward Manual Killian from Columbia City, IN and Bertha Bernice Tonkel from Allen County, IN. I have always been told that the Killians came from County Cork, Ireland but I have not yet begun that research. The Tonkel side came from Alsace Loraine which, depending on the time frame, was either in Germany or France. As a child I was told they came from France.
Tana Marie was born on 2/15/1945 in Fort Wayne, IN and is the child of Doris and William Hosler, Doris Jean's first husband. Tana was later adopted by Richard Zwick and today remembers him as "dad." She was married to Lee McDuffie of McRae, GA and has a daughter, Tara Lee born 5/25/1972 in Gainesville, FL. Lee died on April 30, 2003. Tana and Tara now live in Kurtistown, HI. Tara is married to Stephen David Bendell from Brockton, MA and they have a daughter Taylor Marie born 2/23/1997 in San Antonio, TX.
Terri Lee was born on 9/22/1951 in Fort Wayne, IN and is the child of Richard and Doris Zwick. She is married to Johns Wesley Bryan and lives in Long Beach, CA with her husband and four children They are: Jesse Bryan-Zwick born 6/3/1961 in CA; Sascha Bryan-Zwick born 5/20/1984 in CA; Kelsey Bryan-Zwick born 4/7/1987 in CA; Santiago Bryan-Zwick born 5/30/1990 in Pozul, Spain.
Tracee Lynn was born on 12/29/1953 in Fort Wayne, IN and lives there today with her son, Thomas Geoffrey Zwick born 12/15/1988 in Hawthorn, CA.
Timothy Richard Lawrence was born on 10/18/1969 in Fort Wayne, IN and married Robin Collier. Today they live on a horse farm near Pierceton, IN with their daughter, Taylor Olivia born 5/19/1995 and son, Conner Christian born 7/18/1996.
Richard Lawrence Zwick died on 5/29/1973 in Fort Wayne, IN.
