We are looking for info. about Malcolm McFARLANE, Brother of Benjamin,and wife Jessie BENNETT of PERTHSHIRE SCOTLAND. They arrived in MELBOURNE in the mid 1800's. We're also looking for my Great Grandfather, James MADGWICK and wife Elizabeth, of GILGANDRA New South Wales AUSTRALIA.Anything about James MADGWICK at all will help as we have very little on them.
Malcolm Mc FARLANE went the goldfields in VICTORIA, around the MERTELLFORD area, before leaving his family and going to the goldfields in QUEENSLAND. The family stayed in VICTORIA for a while before moving ot NEW SOUTH WALES, GEURIE, where Robert Langton McFARLANE was the local blacksmith.He married Elisa May STEWART, of WELLINGTON NSW, and they had 5 children. My father Keith was the youngest. My mother was James MADGWICK's granddauther. If you have anything at all on either side of my family, and let me know, I would be most greatfull.
