Looking for the parents of, or any other info on William McFee (4/28/1789 - 12/8/1847)
William McFee, born 4/28/1789, died 12/8/1847, buried in Brooks Cemetery in/near Loogootee, Indiana is my GGGGGrandfather. I also looked for my GGGGGrandmother
Mary Ann (?) McFee, born 8/23/1799, died 11/15/1877. After William's death she lived in Loogootee with her daughter Sarah Jane McFee Gibson and son-in-law Thomas
M. Gibson. Mary's funeral services were held at the "M. E. Church" in Loogootee, but I have been unable to locate Mary McFee's grave. I would appreciate any information
concerning William or Mary as my McFee genealogy research has currently ended with them.
William's and Mary's son Daniel Caywood is my GGGGrandfather. Their other children were Sarah, John W., Helen Sophia, and George H.
Just found some info on on a William McFee who married Martha Allen in Pochester, NH on 4/12/1752. Also found some Rochester, NH baptismal records that indicated that they had at least two children: John (baptized 7/8/1753) and Sarah (baptized (4/20/1755. I'm not sure if they are in my line, but the names are common and the dates are reasonable.
