I am attempting to locate information on the following surnames...HONEYCUT..PROFITT..COOK..COLLIER..BENGE.
These are the names I am most interested in.

My cousin Margaret and I have been searching our family together for about 18 months now.(Without her I would have quit a long time ago)
We have hit a stumbling block on one particular ancester..Alfred HONEYCUT.I can not find him in any census before 1860 Knott Co Ky.I have a photo and some military information which I will post later.

Robert HONEYCUT was our ggrandfather b:6-27-1852 d:???? s/o Alfred Honeycut.Robert married (3) times between 1870 and 1895.
We have all 3 wives and dates...but,I am stuck on the children,and whatever happened to them.I will list what I have on them later ,also.

Collier and COOK are pretty much leading me on the same merry chase.We can't get any farther back than my ggrandfathers marriage in 1878 to Mary COOK.We can find no census that list them or their children.

My PROFITT family is not AS difficult as the others,but,I am having trouble getting information on them also.Such as photos,and death dates.But,I can go back about 6 generations starting with my father.

  Alfred Honeycut is my gggrandfather,first listed in Knott Co Census records in 1860,I have no death date.

  Elijah Honeycutt s/o Robert Honeycut is our grandfather.Elijah suffered a heart as he was going to work at the Elkorn Coal Co at Jackhorn Ky. In the 1910 Knott Co Ky census records his name is spelled ELISHA.

  Arminda is our grandmother.She was the daughter of Richard Collier and Mary COOK Collier. Arminda married Elijah Honeycut 11-23-1924 in Letcher Co Ky
