I have, in the last few weeks started to trace my family back from my birthplace (Glasgow) to the Western Isles of Scotland. So far I have reached John Macintosh, B. around 1815, my G-G Grandfather from Barr, Argyll, and my G-G Grandfather Duncan McNeill from the Isle of Islay.
My family will be holidaying in Scotland in August to search further at the places mentioned above.
