I became very interested in my families history shortly after my Grandfather passed away. How I wish I had talked to him more and took an interest when I had the chance. I had always said that I would go over to Austria and see where my Mother and her Parents were born and grew up and 1997 I packed my mother up and flew over to visit relatives I never knew I had. I also found pictures of my Great Granparents along with names and dates and went through the house that has been in the Wippel side of the family since the 1600's. My cousin Hubert Wippel still lives there to this date.
