I would like to find out all I can about the McIlroys. My grandfather James Coy McIlroy, Sr passed away before I was born. I know we came from Ireland. I hope to find our crest and when the name was changed from McElroy to McIlroy and what prompted this change. My great great grandfather was Thomas Archibald McIlroy in Tolar, Texas.
