John (1792) married Elizabeth Brooks in 1815 in Athens, Ohio. Mariday had four children, Walter (1874),Edith (1879),Jessie Mae (1883) and James (1887).Walter was my grandfather and Mariday my great grandfather , he died in 1928.My 4th great grandfather Robert was born in Carrickfergus area, Antrim, Ireland c.1754. He had eleven children including William, Elizabeth, Martha, Mary and John C.They were in Greene County, PA. in 1800 and then in Athens/Meigs counties Ohio in the Albany, Pleasanton areas. One of William's sons John, was a JP in Meigs for many years, and Asbury Richard was the Editor and publisher of the Albany ECHO.
Many ancestors are buried in Pleasanton,Hebbardsville cems. in Athens county ohio, and in Winona and Olmstead cys, Minnesota.
