Hello! I am researching McEwens from Brea of Taymouth, Kenmore, Perthshire Scotland who descended from Finlay McEwen and Margaret Anderson. Finaly died 02/02/1787 at age 76 and Margaret died 26/05/1791 age 72.

My direct link is through their son Findlay McEwen m May 28, 1789 Dull, Parish Kenmore who married Catherine Menzies, they had Hugh McEwen;married Elizabeth MacPherson 1831 in Lawers, Parish of Kenmore and emigreated to Canada, Ontario in 1843. Their son Findlay McEwen b. 1831 in Pershire, married Sarah Ann Adair, died in Ontario Canada, they had Delilah Kirsty McEwen who married Thomas Simon Ellacott in Ontario. They had Myrtle Ellacott who married Leslie McKay in Ontario. They had Ronald McKay (my Father) who married Judy Fitzgerald in Kichener, Ontario on 17/10/1970. They had Me, Dava McKay 02/02/1973.

I am looking for more information on Findlay and Margaret, hopefully their parents.
