I haven't gotten very far in my research. I have some information about my my great, great, great grandmother that she was of Australian indigenous people who came to Jamaica as an indentured servant. Her name is Henrietta Gray who settled at Long Bay and eventually in Kensington in the parish of Portland, Jamaica. She bore three children -Sarah Ann Gray, Alexander Gray who was born during martial law and a son by the plantation owner, who was taken from her and sent to the parish of St; Mary. Her husband was either hanged or shot at some point for whatever reason during martial law in Jamaica.
Sarah Ann bore three children-Margaret, Elenoir(sp)and one other child who were the illegimate children of one William Mckenzie of Rural Hill who settled at Kensington, Portland Jamaica. From Margaret McKenzie comes Robert, Linton, Heneritta, Berence and my mother Ina. My mother's father was Malcolm Bignall whose mother was Nellie Allwood who resided in the district of Kensington Portland Jamaica.
