I am tracing the above family names plus Proctor and Wiliams. I have had considerable success tracing Fairchild,Young,Procter, Crawford, and Yates, some going back into 1600s in the old countries. I have had less success with the McKinneys and little success with the Cookmans and Williams.

I would appreciate any informatin with regard to the McKinneys as I have run into a stone wall at my great great grandfather, David McKinney. Below is data I have on him:
David McKinney b. abt 1783 in Pennsylvania on possibly on the boat on the way over.
d. 1878 in Peoria, Ill. M. Abigail Ensley (Enslip?) b. 7/27/1787 Pennsylvania. d. 3/27/1887, Peoria,Ill.
they had 3 sons: David b. 10/1/1823, M.Bethshebia b. 1824; John E. b. 6/27/1826 d. 2/12/1898 Peoria, Ill. M. Eliza Stratton, b. 1/13/1827 d. 3/31/1908 Peoria, Ill. 5 Children; Alfred Mark b. 5/24/1831, Pittsburg, Pa. d. 12/04/1904, Wymore, Ne. M. Louisa Proctor b. 1833, d. 2/7/1911, Wymore, Ne. 9 Children.
Alfred was my great grandfather and I have most of the the family line down from him. What I am searching for is the parents of David McKinney and his wife Abigail Ensley (Ensliip?). I would greatly appreciate any information that would lead to them.
With regard to the Cookmans and Williams I have the following: Unknown Cookman M. Malintha J. Bray b. 1820; Son Andrew Jackson Cookman b. 10/24/1854, Columbus, Ind. d. 6/23/1914, Mercer Co., Mo. M. Ada R. Hall. 7 children including Clemma Paralee Cookman b. 6/28/1891 d. 6/27 1971 Mercer Co., Mo. M. Oliver Floyd Williams b. 10/06/1885 d. 12/07/1966 Mercer Co., Mo.
Oliver Floyd Williams' father was Caleb W. Williams, Mother was Mina Ann Creiger. His grandfather was Grandison F. Williams and Grandmother was Mary Ann Evans.
