During the 1800's there were several McKee families scattered throughout the County of Armagh in Northern Ireland. Written here you will find the details of one of those families that sprang up in the townland of Mulladry.
The progenitors of this family were one William McKee born in 1795 and one Sarah McFarlane born in 1807. The exact location of birth for William and Sarah is not known as of this writing. We do know that both the surnames McKee and McFarlane are Scottish in origin as they were originally were MacKay and McFarland respectively.
Much of what was originally known about this family was generated by a gentleman by the name of Jack Ross from Australia. You will find below two links to the copies of his original notes on the McKees and related families. Also included are 4 pages devoted to Jack Ross at his passing at age 110.
