MCKNIGHT / MCKISSICK PLUS

Updated June 2, 2002

About Our Family Research

I would have you remember one thing, and it is no secret, yet few of us really know or acknowledge the power and reality of whatit mean and is, that is the simple fact that there is no greater force power and beauty than family.

It is in the love of a mother that we see it in all it raw power and beauty, and just as equal there is nothing worst than a mother who is devoid of love. So in the power and wisdom of a mother's love inforced by it's natural ingredient, the father's love I say to you, we are family, you are my life and I am yours, though we may seem to stand alone, we are united.

When ever you start a journey you must begin somewhere, It is as much arbituary as it is an act of love, in the point where I begin this labor of love.

For someone to love any part of themselves less than any other part is foolish. There may be things in your families past that you may not be proud of, but it becomes responsibility to begin to change that part into something positive. Therefore I begin now to share.

I hope and pray that I can be a bridge that will begin to bring us as family back together, for the benefit and betterment of us all.

Mcknight is the central starting point becaus it is I Joseph Lee McKnight that is the present author. There are some basic name that I want to deal with. These names are name the I am aware of, names that I grew up hearing.

These nanes are, McKnights of Roanoke, Alabama; Smiths of Roanoke, Alabama Both of these families were from Roanoke,
Alabama and the surrounding counties of Randolph, Chambers, and
some others I can not recall at the present time.

I would like for anyone who have any information about the
Mcknights, and Smiths even the Reeds related to the McKnights,
to email me so I can contact you as I build upon this very special family tree. It is important to note that this family
have causian, native American, and African cultures and races in it's make up.

As in so many case in America, it is the mix that reflect the truth and beauty of what America is all about. Because without God and the races that make up the planet, that which makes America great and blessed of God, However we may view and experience God, or by whatever name we may give God or know God
by, America would be nothing.
