Cridges came from Somerset, Adams from Aberdeen,Scotland, Thomas family came from Cornwall, Stucleys from Devon and the Malenoir's originated as French Huguenots to England and finally emmigrated to New Zealand between 1875 -1885.
The McKnight Family of New Zealand started with George born in Scotland who emigrated as a single male on the "Pleides" from London arriving Lyttelton NZ 16 Dec 1874 and his wife Helen McDougall who emmigrated to Dunedin New Zealand around 1875.
