Reuben Keller, Col. (b 1821, d 5/13/1894) was s/o Peter Keller (b Centre Co 9/28/1790-d Centre 3/28/1840), Peter was s/o Jacob Keller (Lebanon Co 2/15/1753- Centre Co 5/6/1828, Rev) and Maria Barbara Minnich (12/7/1794-Centre Co 11/4/1852). Peter and Barbara had six children: Reuben, Jacob (b 6/15/1825), Rebecca (b 10/13/1826), Elias (b 5/4/1829), Anna (b 7/1833) and Catherine (3/16/1836-1/28/1890).
Reuben married (around 1840) Mary Wise (Centre 1822- Clinton1889), d/o David Wise (Northumberland (3/9/1774- Clearfield 4/6/1854) & Mary M Zeicely (1785- Clearfield 1839). Mary was s/o Enoch (Centre 8/11/1811-Clearfield 3/3/1891), David (Centre 1818 ), William (Centre 5/4/1821- Clearfield 11/9/1900) and Priscilla (Centre 6/14/1825- Clearfield (6/8/1825-12/18/1891). Priscilla m: Robert M Johnston ( b Clearfield 8/2/1830)
Reuben and Mary Keller had three sons and twelve daughters. Their sons, Frank (b 1849), and Emmett B (b 1852), and daughters: Malinda (b 1841- d August 23, 1885), Sarah (b 1844), “Merel” (b 1846), Mary (b 1854), Susan (b 1857), Mary C (b 1860), Angeline (1861), Laura (1863) and Carrie (1871). [Other daughters are: Mrs T B Leonard, Mrs C M Howard and Mrs Frank Richardson.]
