My search for my roots began with a simple search for my father's McCay (McKay) relatives of Alabama. It quickly expanded to include my mother's family. These are my records as of November 29, 2002,including the ADAMS, MAYFIELD, STOCKLEY, SANDERSON, GROGAN, McCALL, STEPHENS, and SMITH families.

The information has been gathered from old family records, libraries, cemeteries, and the input from several dedicated family members who have spent endless hours documenting data.

To the extent possible when dealing with old and often incomplete sources, I have tried to document information accurately. I take full responsibility for any errors listed in my Family Tree information, and welcome input from anyone with more accurate or additional information.

Some areas are incomplete...please remember this is a work in progress!
