Hi, I am looking for any information on Daniel Crownover, the father of Oscar Kern Crownover, born in Ark. in 1897. Daniel married, Martha Finnell. Daniel had a sister, Sarah (Carpenter) that lived in Cave City AR and had 9 children.
I would like to know of any Native American connection also.
If there is any information about Martha that would also be wonderful. I had some communication a long time ago with a "John Watkins", I lost track, his email didn't work etc. We are supposed to be cousins, I would like to pursue that line also. Thanks, for any help you can give.
There is a JD Crownover that is my uncle, I don't know what the initials stand for. His father was Oscar Kern Crownover and mother was Aggie Lou Fondren. They had 10 children. He was born in Ark., b.9-13-1897, m.2-10-1918, d.5-5-1981,p.d. Porterville, Ca. What part of the US is your family from? Hope this helps.

They actually had 12 children 2 passed away. JD is my grandfather and the initials were for Jack Daniels though his full name is "JD" no initials on birth certificate or driver lisence. He is 84 born on Aug, 1913 and lives in Southern California. He is my Mother's Father and we are close, visiting, writing and calling each other often. He is a great guy. So was his father and mother, they raised me a while. Aggie we called "Granny" and Oscar we called Epod, which was Dope spelled backward. They lived to see their 60th wedding anniversary. I have the photos of 50th and 60th.
