John McKelvey 1771-1860 and Mary Slaven 1781-1846 came from Donegal Ireland to St. Sylvestre Quebec Canada in 1835 with 5 of their children. Part of the family then moved on to Wolfestown Quebec. All but three families remained in Canada. The families went on to various states in the U.S., including but not limited to New Hampshire, Michigan, Vermont, Wisconsin, Washington, Oregon, South Dakota, etc.... There are so many branches to be located.
